About Team Proboticists

We are a hands-on robotics team building next-generation autonomous robots. By integrating advanced hardware, embedded systems, and intelligent software, we transform ideas into high performance robotic systems through rapid iteration and real-world testing.

Breakthroughs

ProPup Feet Adaptive Design
ProPup Feet Adaptive Design

Mechanically compliant feet for enhanced grip and terrain adaptability.

End Effector for Mars Rover
End Effector for Mars Rover

Multi-purpose manipulator for off-world soil sampling and analysis.

Competitions

Project S.U.M.M.E.R

A summer training program designed to equip enthusiastic students with practical robotics skills, guided by experienced roboticists, so they are ready to work hands-on from day one.

Mechanical

Built a URC-style manipulator end-to-end. Chose DOFs and link lengths, derived IK, selected materials/actuators, modeled in Fusion, validated in ANSYS, finalized fasteners/BOM, and exported URDF & G-code for prototyping.

Embedded & Controls

From sensors to closed-loop motion. Simulated and interfaced STM32/Arduino, practiced I2C/UART/SPI/CAN, batteries & BMS, PCB design in Altium, RTOS/wireless, and implemented PID + filtering with MATLAB/ROS.

Perception

From pixels to 3D understanding. Image formation, OpenCV/Mediapipe pipelines, edges & features, stereo depth, LiDAR in RViz, and YOLO-based detection/tracking—delivered through mini-projects and pose-estimation work.

Current Projects

Pro-Pup
Pro-Pup

Pro-pup is Team Proboticists' flagship half-scale quadruped, built for both plain and off-road terrains. With 360° vision and dynamic locomotion, it's designed for the future of robotics in human-made environments.

Polarix
Polarix

Our Mars Rover is built for URC and IRC, tackling planetary exploration with rugged mobility, sample collection, and autonomous navigation—bridging competition challenges with real-world space missions.
